Web: http://www.ftxwest.com/FTX West Film & Television Expo is drawing closer and we have a variety of volunteer positions and part time paid positions to fill. Some knowledge or experience in the Film & television Industry is preferable.
General requirements:
We need some enthusiastic and experienced coordinators and volunteers who are computer literate, have strong communication skills, some event experience or strong customer service background. We will be offering small honorariums to those who can take on part time projects, assist in office administrative duties and work with the company directors. Good writing skills, as well as individuals with strong negotiation skills or professional sales experience would be desirable assets for these candidates
FOR THE FTXWEST CONFERENCE:
We are interested in talking with you if you have a keen interest in
learning the event business and have some background or related skills in the film & television or Event industry. From May 15th till October 15th-
We also need some good administrative support and are interested in any candidate with previous office organization skills and some basic knowledge of the Film & Televison Industry. A positive and resourceful approach is a great asset as this person will be assisting the Event producers in many different areas , handling incoming calls, customer support, client communications, booking and travel arrangement for speakers etc.
From Approximately Septemer 1st to October 15th we will be looking for the following:
Drivers with vehicles to assist in PR and promotions, media, and to shuttle guest speakers around Vancouver during the event. We also require experienced Volunteer coordinators, registration and seminar assistants with some knowledge of audio video equipment and computers.
FOR THE FTX WEST PROGRAM GUIDE: Some assistance with graphic design and layout and a basic knowledge of “In Design” would be an asset.
